TRAINING RECAP: Last week we conducted Engineer Training at the Aurora Medical Grounds on Port Washington Road that focused on Basic Pumping and Supply Operations. See below for the training documents used.
At the end of the night, we also took time to review the location of the FDCs (Fire Department Connections) for both the Cancer Center and the Hospital. Please see the photos for the nearest fire hydrant and the location of the FDC for each building.
Please note that although each building is located on the same property, the Hospital uses the address of 975 N. Port Washington Road and the Cancer Center uses the address of 975A N. Port Washington Road.
Lastly, when responding to the Hospital (975 N. Port Washington Road), the first fire department unit to arrive on scene should report to the public ER entrance to make contact with hospital staff. The primary reason is this entrance is open 24 hours a day and is always staffed.
